George asks the question, "if the Earth is expanding beneath the ocean
basins, wouldn't they be higher in elevation than the continents".
That should have elicited a response from Sophie More along the lines
of yours to Matt when he talked about the mantle lifting the
continents, where you said:-
"Utter crackpottery. The continents ride high because of density
differences. No matter what is thrown at you, you come up with an
excuse. Its clear your model isn't subject to falsification and is not
science."
But you consider it a good question when it comes from George. Good
one Stuart.

Carey pointed out long ago the major crustal polygons that result from
exactly this adjustment. And the stretching that occurred earlier is
expressed everywhere in the sedimentary basins on the pre-severance
continental crust. Moreover it is exactly this stretching that
locates the major oil reserves of the world - in the most dilated parts
of Pangaean dilation. So you could say there is a highly empirical
basis to Earth Expansion's claim of crustal stretching.
You can point out all you like, Stuart but it certainly isn't the
geology you're pointing to. Just your misunderstanding. (you should
read a book)
