The way Bush and Cheney think, that isn't what will happen. Multiple mushroom
clouds will fill the atmosphere with radiation and all life will cease to exist
either mercifully quickly close to a blast centre or agonisingly slowly for the
rest. Of course the Galactic Messenger claims that space beings are coming to
save us, but then he lives in L.A.
