It doesn't appear that saying it in French makes it true either.

Last night I say Chirac on T.V. saying he was going to take control, and now it
appears that nearly 1,500 cars are burned and many police injured in France's
worst night of violence since riots began. And I just read a report that says
somebody was killed.
