Re: Shrinking Earth

To Chriso

You reach this juncture where the direction is either to expand on the
convection cells/stationary Earth mechanism or jettison it in favor of
a far more workable solution using the dynamics of a rotating celestial
object.

That the profile of the Earth comprised of componet plates does not
come under the geological umbrella would appear a horrendous omission
under any circumstances, that the Earth's shape is intentionally ignored
and with it the underlying mechanism of differential rotation in the
mantle is downright dumb.

The convection cell agenda is gathering steam as more of the same guys
who destroyed astronomy now enter the discipline, they will eventaually
do to Steno what they did to Copernicus and all with the approval of
geological cataloguers who know no better.

Even with the dynamics of a rotating celestial object before everyone
for scrutiny * ,the intention to smother the insight with guesswork of
convection cells which cannot account for the Earth's deviation from a
pefect sphere says more about the intellectual standards now at work
diluting the geological discipline than it does about anything else.

You can't get the Earth's profile in any other way than differential
rotation bands -

As that profile is generated by a mechanism in the mantle,it hardly
needs a great leap to figure out that crustal motion comes under the
same mechanism.Behind this easily understandable concept there is a
lot of foundational work yet ultimately common sense allied with a
lively intution brings quite an amount of geological and astronomical
material together under a single mechanism.
