As opposed to what sort of sand? Most building sand (as in sand and gravel) is largely quartz.

If you mean refractory quality silica sand (certified 98%+ pure white sand) try doing a search on silica sand California.

Too bad you're not in Missouri...we've got a sand plant about 3 miles away..Company name is U. S. Silica Company. They are on the Net.
