Did you see the news item about the guy who celebrated becoming
the first man to swim a kilometer in the sea from the coast of
Antarctica? He celebrated by swimming a mile a few days later.

The coldest I've ever been was after doing an ice dive to about
20ft in my caving wetsuit. Brrrr!, and a lot less than 13 deg C. Hell,
I've spent about 4 hours of the last month contemplating taking a 3000ft
swan dive into 5deg C seawater in the event of the rotors quitting.
