Matter always existed, it is just recycled, and black holes are the King of
Recyclers.

Life started out as a single organism and became (evolved into) the vast
quagmire of living organisms present today. Tomorrow it will be more
evolved than it is today.

And just think, they did not have an endangered species list, nor millions
of tree huggers wanting to protect the species, and everything turned out
ok. Perhaps Geologists are really detectives, fornesic rock detectives,
trying to explain past events with a few clues left behing in rocks.
