I'm quite pleased to hear that he was actually caught trying to enter the
country and was immediately sent back. Maybe he and Cat Stevens can meet
for lunch and commiserate over a Roquefort sandwich.

Well, at least you could be sure they won't shoot each other, like Cheney and
his friends.

I got a chuckle out of that, because the guy kind of reminded me of typical down home outdoors hunter/fisher types (aka rednecks) I've known over the years. They always have an opinion on how things should be done "right," and feel free to brag and snicker about how somebody else does it wrong, especially if that somebody has more money than they do. Some of you probably know the type.

I was once talking to a couple of good old boys, and they practically choked when I told them how we used to use a casting net to catch bait fish in the nearby lakes. "No, man. It's a CAST net. Casting net! Sheaw! Casting net! Haw!" Of course both names are commonly used, but don't try to argue, it's going to go nowhere. (Hey, kind of like arguing with Alan!)
