Hmmm, I remember there being a stone circle named Bourtreebush in
Aberdeenshire somewhere. Wonder if it's the same? Otherwise, sounds very
Robin Hoodish. (Actually, ISTR a discussion in a book on Tolkein's work that
the arrow-to-grave story appears a lot more often in English mythology than
Mr Hood.)
