How did you come to the figure of 2.9 for its density? Could you try to get
it's Specific Gravity again? You might have a chunk of Aluminum or an alloy
of same. Will E.

10 cm long, 2 kg, density 2.9, found in Alps.

Color is quite homogeneous, black, like superficially burnt, but does not
color hands, cannot be washed using water
We see under this layer gold areas (brass ?) and if we file it, the rock
is like a grayish-metal.
That seems to be a metal, not magnetic

If it was a siderit it 'd be 2-4 times heavier and much different
It looks like ore.

An idea ?
