Hey, it's just another issue the pols can use to detract the voters from the
truly important issues.

Like the economy tanking.
A quagmire in Iraq.
Oil prices/Oil profits.
Pollution.
Unprecedented Resource Consumption/Depletion
Global Warming
Corrupt business practices/business leaders
Widening gap between rich and poor, promoted by the pols
Poor public education
Being the world bully
A populace that is largely ignorant of anything not related to the US


Why address those issues when we could promote a constitutional amendment to
make recognized marriages be only between a man and a woman? Now that's
important!
