Dimming isn't a newly found issue. Volcanoes, big forest fires, etc., and
man's activities all throw a lot of stuff into the atmosphere, and it all
has varying types and directions of effects.
Basically, it's good that we can alter the atmosphere over relatively short
time periods. That means we can learn and implement ways of controlling
climate and avoid or mitigate things like ice ages or major warming (like
we're almost certainly in now).
