Hey Daryl,

Where I'm at I've always had to subscribe to the newsgroup...whether it be through my ISP, or via the registration one has to do to post to the groop via Google. One can read Usenet without subscribing, but cannot post to it. Perhaps your ISP has subscribed users to all ngs, but mine hasn't.
