There are no observations which require the earth to expand, that are
not already adequately explained by PT.

Mountain belts as dissected plateaus.
Mountain belts as crumpled crust by plate collision,
Which? How are they both "adequately explained"?
("Adequate " - indeed. Rough enough is good enough, eh? After what?
half a century?
C'mon Stuart, ..you're the geophysicist around here, ... What's the
goss? And what's the geological process giving plateaus (that along
with the weather/ erosion gives mountains)**? Remember melting ice caps
and isostatic rebound have to give exhumation of stratigraphic sequence
the world over - i.e., from the bottom of the oceans to the top of the
world's highest bits - All Over the world. By which gorkian trapdoor
is it done? ( And before or after 'wind'? )
** - Or even crumpled crust for that matter, since according to nasa's
Tectonics of a Thousand and One Nights, "The African, Arabian and
Indian crustal plates have been marching northward to collide with
Eurasia -- for about 20 million years in the case of Arabia, and for 50
million years in the case of India." That's what nasa says. Is that
what you think too? India crumples Himalayan crust?

Show us at least that you're more informed than these blinking Gorks.
( "marching, colliding, folding..") <cripes!>
Let's have a definitive " I have repeatedly demonstrated this"
statement.
