Reading Recommendations

Hi,

I'm very interested in the history of the formation of the earth, of
continents and supercontinents. However I have no background on
geology.

Could anyone recommend some readings on this subject. I found John
Rogers' "Continents and Supercontinents", but I fear it's quite
technical.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
