I finally got my xD chips downloaded, and ran the YouTube gantlet, and
now, for anyone interested across the Mississippi or the pond:

Three views of Alley Spring, near Eminence Missouri on May 7, when it was
running at a good clip--probably about 100-120 cfs or so.

Now the disclaimer--I've NEVER shot video or home movies or anything
before, and this was done on a 3.2Mp point and shoot pocket camera, so
National Geographic has nothing to fear.

I think I'm going to put the mill shot on my website.

I've considered shooting very long sequences, like a campfire, the drifting
clouds etc. .. new age kind of stuff to contemplate by. Your takes has a
gist of it, but your own pages may not be the place to present such ..
consider clipping the three together in one (Movie-Maker is 'easy')

Hi Jo. You do pass the impression of lots of wonderful water. Some of your
states would pay dearly for access - personally I wouldn't mind to have such
a tingie pass my land. The picture quality is 'good' - it's the same as the
one I downloaded of my own, so I'm probably delivered some standard quality.
... Having been there, I notice that you bite your tounge to keep the camera
steady ;o) . My microphone is sensitive so in meny takes you'll suddently
hear 'someone' start grasping for air and see the frames sway up and down
along with it.
I went out yesterday to redo fotage of a small local clear spring. Good
takes, except for the tilting camera. The additional bonus was the
mesmerizing singing of a nightingale, but that's sort'a not geology.
