Moment tensors - a new concept to me (Wiki helps). I assume the raw
data comes from seismometers scattered around the globe, since the
article indicated the USGS doesn't actively monitor the Gulf region?
Also, does the "ball" just cover the region circled on the map, or is
it the entire planet?
