I've seen it in columns before, never seen it in this condition.
Oregon, Cascades

How about this?
http://www.nps.gov/depo/
Odd, when I visited there I never gave the fallen columns any thought,
I was paying attention to the ones still standing.
A real geologist doesn't miss those details, chuckie. So tell me again
what qualifies you to make any assessment on the matters geological.
George
Nothing at all, I'm just trying to learn something. Just a general
interest in things around me.
Then what makes you qualified to waste bandwidth by posting pseudo-science
nonsense on sci.geo.geology newsgroups about the origins of the earth?
George
Please excuse George, he obviously, and quite contrary to his claim,
does not pay attention to details.
