I genuinely like to see people attempt to work the rotational dynamics
of the Earth into geological evolution and the following website at
least tries to do just that -
http://www.tectonic-forces.org/pt11.htm
Rather than dump on the guy it is easier to explain the mid Atlantic
ride by incoroprating into the same mechanism that causes the Earth to
deviate from a perfect sphere.
It is two years since I showed how differential rotation of the
molten/flexible interior, perpendicular across the entire length of
the Earth's axis, causes the planetary deviation, generates fresh crust
and causes the component plates to move.
Referencing the planetary sphere deviation from the dead center of the
Earth or indeed the mid Atlantic ridge as the guy in the website does
looks quaint for somebody who has lived with the dynamics of the
Earth's rotation for a few years notwithstanding that at least he is
trying.
I have two questions:
1. Most people would say the earth's core has a solid inner core and a
fluid outer core. Was this your assumption in modeling, or did you assume
that the whole core was fluid?
2. I take it that you do not believe that the tectonic plates are actually
moving, as has been proven by years of measurements, and you see the earth
as a solid layer of "shells", or do you say this force is the force moving
the plates on the earth?
.
