If it is a remarkably close match on all the numbers given the
different scales, then I would say that the refrigerator top must
resemble in physical characteristics to the Asthenosphere to
Lithosphere boundary. Not that this boundary is a iron plate, but that
the boundary is very prone to Vibration from the Earth's core as a
motor.
The summary of plate motion is given from this website picture:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image%3AGlobal_plate_motion.jpg
And it shows Australia as very fast in continental drift.
Shows is the keyword. The image is 700 by 530 pixels. Yet, it is a
map of 360 degrees East West and 160 degrees North South. Which makes
it a visual distortion of better than twice.

compare GUAM to PAMA
From the image they appear about the samefrom the data PAMA is twice GUAM
.
