Why do you think the Earth has no mantle convection cells? The sun has
convection.

Well, if it's only a little effort, then post your thinking, your
calculations, and your results.
I simply do not mind if geologists ever appreciate the productive
avenues availible through considering a common mechanism,their work on
geology is good enough without a dire need for an underlying mechanism
but that being said,the existence of silly 'convection cells' as a
means to explain crustal evolution and motion will never mesh with the
dynamics which cause the Earth's shape to deviate from a perfect
sphere.
What is the numerical description of the earth's oblateness? Can this be
accounted for by centripetal acceleration and the spring constant of
granite? I'm sure that you've considered this possibility and run
through all the math involved. It's not all that much, so please post it
here.
It is a matter of taste as I have no intention of contending with earth
expansion or stationary earth guys and unfortunately that is all that

it but seeing the phrenological version of the dynamics of what
occurs below the Earth's crust from the USGS wallchart,it looks like it
will be a long time before I can have a decent conversation.
In other words, as long as you don't talk to any real geologists, you're
safe from being found out.

As a Christian,I thank God that I never forced anyone to consider the
common mechanism based on differential rotation dynamics connecting the
major geological features.
You are free to carry on with your stationary Earth 'convection cells'
models and the geological phrenology you have got going beneath the
Earth's crust.
I would be too embarrassed to be found arguing with a guy who is a
stationarty Earther so good luck to you.
