(Well, we're not carrots, so a 'bunch' doesn't really scan very well.)

A collection of geologists?
A stratigraphy of geologists?
A formation of geologists?
A melange of geologists?

You get the idea. Any other concepts out there?

(I know, it's late in the day...too much seriousness in my life, so I
want some FUN!)

Geologii of course!! Speaking or carrots that is what the french call a
core.
I also enjoy when I see an add in a journal for a
cretaceous Geologist or something to that order.
I guess there is still hope for the baby boomers if they will except someone
that old!!
