I'm not a doctor (of rocks, or medicine). If I were, I'd be
signing my posts with "FGS, PhD". I think. I'd have to check up on the
rules of precedence for that actually. I know that amongst affiliations
it goes in order of foundation (which is why the afore-mentioned Dad
could always trump me with his FLS - the stamp-collectors've got about
30 years precedence on the rock-hounds. But I think I could beat him on
his FRSC (bangs, flashes and bad smells people)).
