Grrr...I've drive in snow my whole life. Yesterday was the first dayLovely stuff, isn't it?
I've driven in a 3-4 inch deep Slurpee. I'll take the snow anyday.
In case you considered getting out and walking, this sort of
gloop can, in the right conditions, build up on your be-cramponed boots
to give you two left feet, each a full foot in (spherical) radius. Just
what you need for walking downhill over the slush on.

A light wave is more like a crime wave than a water wave.
We got lucky, as we missed the worst of the storm here in Kentucky (the
snow, sleet and freezing rain that came down in Illinois and Missouri).
Thank the stars for that! We did have a hell of a wind storm with a lot of
rain, though, Thursday night and Friday.
