somewhere, my village was getting battered by them there 180 km winds in
Germany! :-) We lost part of our balcony facing, which smashed off one

Which reminds me - it's household insurance time again, which means
explaining to lots of telephone sales staff that I'm a geologist and the OF

AN IDIOT OR SOMETHING I JUST TOLD YOU I'M A BLOODY GEOLOGIST AND I WARN
PEOPLE ABOUT THESE RISKS DO YOU THINK I'M TOO STUPID TO TAKE MY OWN ADVICE
sheesh I don't know the quality of call centre staff these days ...
