Thanks for a coherent and civil reply Gautam.
There you go, Guatam, ..like everybody else he doesn't mind if you're
wrong, just so long as you shake his hand nicely. George and Aidan
have taken this to inordinate levels, and are absolutely wringing wet
from shaking each other
He probably won't mind either, in fact he'll probably be with you two
hundred percent, if you persist with your bull*** and keep trying to
sledge Earth Expansion on grounds of perverted logic. Logic and
rationality doesn't matter to the supporters of Plate tectonics - it's
group solidarity that counts; the more under fire they are the more
they feel a need to bury logic and shore up their ridiculous position.
And of course the hallmark in discussion is politeness. Carsten
always wears his good suit and clips on his hair whenever
corresponding, but everyone should at least take a leaf out of
Stuart's and George's book on the matter of polite correspondence.

Radioactive decay of uranium 238 is the main source of heat. Smaller
amounts are also produced by decay of other heavy elements. Iron and
Nickel atoms in the Earth's core are mostly stable and do not contribute
to the heat budget. Another samll amount is produced by the phase
transition of iron from liquid to solid. The half-life or Ur-238 is 4.5 gy
which is the same as the age of the Earth. So the heat production has been
halved over the Earth's lifetime and falling.
(C) is the main source of heat in EE theory :-)
