cells interact with the rotation of the earth. For example, models of
the earths magnetic field have to take into account both the fluid
flow and the rotation of the earth. None of these models exclude
subduction. They are quite compatible with plate tectonics.
When you are ready to grow up, please look up the follwoing
topics:
1) Magnetic field reversals
2) Bullard model of the earth's magnetic field
3) Field reversals
Also, I think that Jim Taylor, Don Findlay, and you should really
look into geophysics. Geophysicists really do study things like,
"aligning the surface feature evolution with plate motion by way of
rotational orientation." The existence of subduction has never been
considered mutually exclusive with the earths rotation. Why do you
think it was?
