I do think that there are geophysical models where convection
cells interact with the rotation of the earth. For example, models of
the earths magnetic field have to take into account both the fluid
flow and the rotation of the earth. None of these models exclude
subduction. They are quite compatible with plate tectonics.
When you are ready to grow up, please look up the follwoing
topics:
1) Magnetic field reversals
2) Bullard model of the earth's magnetic field
3) Field reversals
Also, I think that Jim Taylor, Don Findlay, and you should really
look into geophysics. Geophysicists really do study things like,
"aligning the surface feature evolution with plate motion by way of
rotational orientation." The existence of subduction has never been
considered mutually exclusive with the earths rotation. Why do you
think it was?
Geophysicists indeed !, I looked at your attempts to explain the
planetary deviation from a perfect sphere by referencing the
deviation fropm the dead center of the Earth rather than using
differential rotation perpendicular to the rotational orientation of
the Earth -

I would easily explain how stupid it is to reference the deviation
from the 'dead center' but you lot seem intent in continuing to make
idiots of yourself and I could not be bothered addressing such a
pretensious and childrish group.
For everyone else, the link between plate motion and planetary shape
under a common mechanism is proposed as a working principle rather
than an isolated fact.Even though differential rotation in the molten/
flexible interior as a replacement for idiotic 'convection cells' is
a wonderful and easy to grasp principle,I do not think the
intellectual and intuitive background is present to even discuss the
matter for the investigation of natural phenomena is still dominated
by dull and mediocre empiricists who think being sour is some trait of
brilliance.

That slight deviation from a perfect sphere contains the mechanism for
crustal motion and the evolution of durface features.Looking at your
pathetic response I doubt if you have enough lively intelligence to
grasp that original conception, either way I do not care if you grasp
it or not.
