Very distinctive "onion-layers" weathering pattern, as you can see.
Do you have any idea what is this? Location is 36°22'28.85"N,
117°17'7.18"W.

They look like fossilised dragon eggs.
But that's not important right now.
What is the pair of pits on the hillside behind?
Fossilised nostrils?
Do they ever exhibit tongues of flame, on a dark night,
when Venus is in Draco?
