Indeed. The orientaion of the transform faults by themselves clinches
the case for an expanding earth. From another post:
"When you look at transverse transform faults, they are convergent when
looking back in time, and divergent when looking forward in time, and
are thus prima facia evidence of an expanding earth.
If they were parallel, then Plate Tectonics would be valid, but because
the are older-convergent, and newer-divergent, then expansion of the
Earth is valid."
