Crystals

What makes our planet special in a geometric sense, is the existence
of the Phi proportion in animate and inanimate objects - Plato called
the relationship the most binding known geometric relationship while
Kepler called it a jewel.

Some people are more disposed than others to tune into the geometry in
all its facets and as it surfaces in a geological context in the form
of minerals,it is no harm to look at what it can tell us.The world
which William Blake could see through a grain of sand has a certain
geometric flavor to it when applied to minerals and their naturally
occuring symmetries and therein the curious person is bound to find
themselves between the mysteries that create the geometry and the
tangible existence of that geometry.

The empiricist with a Darwinist streak rather than a more stable
evolutionary stamp will try to show existence as a progression from
simpler states to more complex forms by a turfing out of undesirable
features or adaptation to physical conditions such as
geography,climate ect but the argument becomes unstuck in the presence
of the underlying geometry which binds all animate and inanimate forms
together.There is something more than the survival of the fittest at
work in creation and it is to this end that I begin to re-introduce a
work that has remained private for nearly two decades.

The Phi proportion has that mysterious beauty to it and it also shows
something of its effeciency in natural things -

In 1990,I extended that geometry to stellar effeciency and the
geometry it would produce in stellar evolutionary terms.I came up with
two external rings and one smaller internal ring which co-incides with
the plane of the central star.While there are instances where stars
show this trait such as Eta Carinae -

The natural effeciency seen in crystal growth,in the arrangement in
flower seeds in a sunflower,the spirals of a nautilis shell may also
be present in the wider cosmos as well.I arrived at the two external
rings and the smaller internal ring in an attempt to arrive at a
satisfactory conclusion for a particular geometry seen in crystals
known as quasi-crystals and their descriptive antecedents on the plane

In 1990 I found a means to show where the angles 36 deg,72 deg,108 deg
and 144 deg can become periodic hence the geometry of the external
rings and the smaller internal ring.The working conclusion is that the
higher elements created by a star in its evolutionary process and are
present in abundance in our own bodies may have come from our own
Sun.Rather than being the death of a star,a supernova may represent a
two step or multi-step process in stellar evolution.

Most here will just not get the point and that is fine with me,it is
the outlines of something new rather than a detailed account and
hardly appeals to those who have constructed a Big Bang Universe,at
least in its present form.The geometry that saturates the Earth and
its objects both animate and inanimate, tells me more of Universal
evolutionary processes but in such a way that it makes existence more
enjoyable rather than complicating things or rushing to conclusions
just for the sake of it.It is enjoyable to consider that the elements
in our own bodies may have come from our own Sun due to the
consideration of our galactic formation and that all the stars have
been keeping roughly the same distance since galactic rotation began
begging the question,where was the supernova star which generates the
Earth's heavier elements.
