Re: Stuart, why don't you tell Ron that he sucks with his less dense than the mantle sinking slab?

So now, according to Ron Yates, all geophycists are idiots who insists
that the slabs have to be denser than the asthenosphere in order to
sink?

1) You are not a geophysicist.

Geophysicsit insit that the slab has to become denser than the mantle in
order to sink. You claim it is not necessary. Are they iddiot yes or no?

If the fate of subducting slabs is the lower mantle, then they need
to
be denser than the upper mantle. I don't see how you get around that.

On the other hand, even "continents" sink into the mantle, but they
can't
be submerged in it.

2) You are the only one making the claim that it is impossible for a
substance of less density to sink into a substance of higher density. A cup
of ice water proves without a doubt that you are the dumbest person on the
planet.

Definition of sink: To descend to the bottom; submerge.

I have never heard "sink" as defined as descend to the bottom. I don't
give you
French lessons, spare us the English lessons.

Chicken Licken looks over the side of the ship, and sees neither the
keel nor the propeller:- (Flaps around the deck in panic) :- "Help
Help!! The Ship is sinking! I must go and tell the King."

Chicken Licken, .. followed now by a retinue of Rabbit.
