I have two fans that purport to clean by 'ionization'. From what I've read
ionization cleans by stripping electrons from neutrons (?). Which atoms?
And how does that make the air cleaner. The directions for one states that
people with pulmonary afflictions shouldn't use it for extended times. I am
posting here because the outer most portion of the earth's atmosphere is the
ionosphere, where presumably a similar process takes place. What's the
lowdown here...
