It seems that we have a clairvoyant in this group.
There exist a link between vulcanism and global warming, though is not as important the emission caused by antropogene influences.
>>Florida **uninhabitable**:
damn wrong, recent and older publications predict a more intensive El nino caused by global warming, which means that the Atlantic Region could produce less tropical cyclones than we have now.
@archimedes: In Belgium we have a guy with your 'qualities', perhaps you should meet him. Last month he claimed in our (student restaurant)that there would be a tsunami on 05/05/2005, unfortunatly (for him), there wasn't one. His name:mark peeters, his website: http://www.geocities.com/markpeeters96/r0.html

I predicted that due to Global Warming that Florida is likely to have 4 major hurricanes this year. Last year of 2004 there were 3 major hurricanes in Florida and three major evacuations of the state.
Past tense or future tense? You predicted (past) that something hasn't happened yet. Ummmm k.
There are two things which may cause this prediction to not come true, besides other factors. One is that of El Nino's and perhaps El Nino formations are connected directly to Global Warming itself. The other factor is increased volcanic activity that spews dust into the atmosphere and causes a cool summer.
???? "There are two things which may cause this prediction to not come true, besides other factors."
After trying to comprehend this statement for 30 minutes, my brain exploded. If it wasn't for that horse, I don't know how I would have ever gotten through that semester in college -- Lewis Black
BTW, there is no El Nino currently. Oh and that stuff that volcano "spews"? Not dust. Try again Einstein.
So far there has been more than average volcanic dust activity this year and judging from South Dakota we have had a cooler summer than normal so far.
Amazing that you know this considering that summer hasn't started yet. I'm really beginning to wonder about the state of education in South Dakota.
And I have read from a Reuters science report some weeks back that meteorologists are predicting a heavy hurricane season.
Heavy is a term used to describe weight. This makes no sense.
Whether I am correct or wrong for 4 major hurricanes to Florida this year,
Well, one or the other will be true! Way to go Accu-Man.
one thing I am rather confident of predicting is that the state of Florida because of its geography as a pathway of hurricane activity. That the state of Florida will become **uninhabitable** as Global Warming increases.
The geography of Florida to first approximation hasn't changed in tens of thousands of years. Hurricanes have been striking its shores for a lot longer than that. You are saying that you are confident in predicting past occurrences? Congrats Captain Obvious! Why is global warming capitalized? How does a peninsula (i.e. surrounded by water on three sides) become uninhabitable? Florida's average temperature in the summer is less than most of the mainland US for that reason.
I can see a direct link, a direct connection between El Nino's and Global Warming. But I see no link what so ever between volcano activity and Global Warming. Remember those quacks or kooks of science who espoused the Gaia theory. The Gaia theory that Earth is self-regulating. Well, if those kooks ever had a spotlight for their kookish theory, it would be now at this moment, because if their theory had any credence then they would be saying " as Global Warming increases, it taps into volcanism and causes increased volcanic activity that spews dust into the atmosphere and cooling Earth".
I cannot for the life of me see how Global Warming is connected to volcanism. Global Warming shows us that the Gaia theory is a kook theory.
I only see one kook here. It's not Joseph Bartlo.
Humanity causes Global Warming and it is humanity that is going to have to directly get involved in solving Global Warming. The best solution is an Earth Air Conditioner System of finding some chemical that when injected into the Upper Atmosphere will cool Earth to a desired stable temperature. Humanity is going to do it anyway in the future-- build a Earth Air Conditioner-- so may as well do it now.
Oooooh more cancer causing, ozone depleting chemicals!!! There's an ingenious solution! You should really market this!
