I'm quite impressed with what you are doing Marc. Partial derivatives
in three dimenisions is a tough but facinating subject in calculus.
Most people just teach two dimmensions. While this is a very good
question to ask, if you are trying to create a program for it, why not
try comp.lang.c for help.
