Having gone thru the "remnants" of tropical storm Allison (June
2001), and watching TLH set a 1-day rainfall record (10 inches) in a
3-4 hour span, I have an inkling.
Its a lot of damn water. I didn't think I'd make it home that
night. The road and the trees along the road just blended into the
rain and I had to slow down and almost *feel* my way along.

I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow
isn't looking good, either.
I am BOFH. Resistance is futile. Your network will be assimilated.
