Hmmmm.....interesting bit of code. In fact, it looks a lot like
Fortran code that I maintain. Regrettably, my original software
download web page is no longer online, but the "WayBackMachine"

Notice in the documentation for the skewt plotting subroutine that the
original code was written by Carl Mohr of NCAR in the 1970s. When he
left that position, I offered to maintain the code for him and have
done so for many years.
For the record: I did not write this code -- I only maintain it,
debugged some minor problems, and converted it from NCAR85 to NCAR
GKS. The original authors names are listed in the code documentation
and should remain a part of the file.
