Hello all, I've been trying to construct my personal page and want to
place this goes image....
http://wwwghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/get-goes?satellite=Global%20Composite&x=130&y=160&zoom=1&width=350&height=550&quality=100&info=ir&palette=spect.pal
..... this isnt not a .gif or .jpg file, but once the page loads,
clicking View>Source, one can see that there's a .jpg appended to the
file...
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>NASA/MSFC Interactive GOES Data Selector</TITLE>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-transform">
</HEAD>
<BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF">
<IMG SRC="/GOES/GOES06452005247f2SQeg.jpg" WIDTH="350" HEIGHT="550">
</A>
<BR><IMG SRC="/GOES/colorbarhor.gif" WIDTH="595" HEIGHT="90"
</BODY>
</HTML>
.....appending /GOES/GOES06452005247f2SQeg.jpg to
http://wwwghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/ gets me the pic but...
..... I figure 0645 is the Universal time, 2005 is the year, but what is
247f2SQeg? Is this related to gvar coordinates? been searching all over
and found nothing. A little help please.
