If your city is a mile high, in the middle of a continent exposed to the
winter cold and at about 35 North, you should have no problems.
You've got a lot more chance of seeing a White Christmas than I have at 50
feet above sea level near the coast of an island surrounded by water that
will still be around 50 F, even though we are at least ten degrees of
latitude north of you.
Throw a snowball for me.
