Nexrad and Doppler are the mainstay right now. Are there any new types
of weather radar being designed right now which are highly advaced in
detecting thunderstorms/tornadoes? If so, what are they called and how
good are they COMPARED to what we have now? When will they be deployed
and what cities will likely be the first to get them?
Is there a place , website, newsgroup, forum where these things are
discussed more in detail?
Please discuss this with me if you can,
thank you very much
