to that newsgroup. In fact, I kill file postings that are crossposted
into that newsgroup.

I can understand that decision. That would preclude you from having
seen my earlier post where I pointed out that Denk (who until recently was
posting as Jim McGinn) has been confusing terms there, too. I cross-posted
that to sci.environment.


So, I guess we're stuck. You won't provide a definition, my
dictionaries won't provide a definition, and I refuse to go to one
newsgroup that you suggest will make all clear.
