Hi to every One..
Why there is Ozone depletaion in antirtica ,as there is no pollution
and also no,population.
CFCs in the stratosphere are detectable everywhere, but it is really
only in the Arctic and particularly in the colder Antarctic that
temperatures get low enough to form polar stratospheric clouds that are
needed to initiate the ozone depleting reactions. The damage is
seasonal and at its worst in the Artic spring when strong sun and UV
returns.
NASA has a reasonably accessible educational summary article on it's
website.

On the rare occasions when the stratosphere over Europe is cold enough
to form PSCs the ozone level cripples here too. Fortunately it is still
a rare event to see them at our latitude. A list of all PSC's seen from
the UK for the past century is on my webpage.

Please reports any further displays (most likely between November and
February).
