+ but millions of americans drink vottled water as they complain of the
+ suvs. it makes no sense.

Well, they're probably complaining because the SUVs suck down so much
gas that it raises the price of gasoline more than it otherwise would.

Seriously, tho, no one seems to give a thought to long-term
considerations and the law of unintended consequences.

Hybrid cars have batteries, is anyone prepared to recycle those when
they finally give out? does anyone in the field have experience in
dealing with wrecks where the batteries have been compromised?

Compact fluorescent lights are a cool idea, but they contain mercury,
a known dangerous substance. They too must be recycled, and pray you
don't break one or you'll need a hazmat team to come and clean up the
mercury spill. And try not to breath the vapors if you do break one.

why isnt the information you just provided about all those dangers not
being made to the public? why would enviro people want more mercury?
is it possible they just dont know or care? and those car hybrid
batteries..is it they dont know or dont care?

i guess i was about to join up with environmental groups who are not
educated about the things they want us all to do.

sounds like they are actually going to do more harm than good. a lot
more harm.

why isnt this information made public for everyone to read about?

better..why is everyone ignoring the information you spoke about?
.
