I want a GPS that has a map (and that can download more detailed
streetmaps).
I will mostly be using it for car, as well as hiking, and
mountaineering in N.America.
Both have the mapping stuff, and I know one is 8mb?, and the other is
32mb? but what differences will the 'everyman' see?
Are the MerGold maps more detailed?
Do I really need the MerGold?, and what will it do that the Sportrak
Map won't?
Is it worth the extra bucks?
I currently use a Magellan 315, and know every little detail of it
very well. I use it all the time, and love it. Whatever I get I will
use a lot, and learn every function. (based on my experience with the
315)
Thanks, Karl
