Yes. Small, lightweight, very good receiption compared to other entry
units, very good tracklog capabilities. Battery runtime is a little bit
limited with rechargables, but you should get 8-12hrs from good NiMHs
and possibly using battery save mode.

But being located in Australia calls for OZI Explorer ;-) Look it up!
