Having just used mine navigating around Vancouver, BC I would like the
screen to rotate like on the Garmin V. The unit will not stand in the
narrow "v" between the windshield and dash of my Subaru Outback so I
had it lying down sideways with the buttons to the right and the
screen to the left. It would have been nice to be able to "rotate"
the screen portrait/landscape orientation for this position. The map
was kind-of okay this way but all the other info, text, prompts were
harder to deal with.
The screen is quite a bit smaller than the older 76 series. If you
look at the new 76CS series, fill out the area where the screen is, to
the full extent of the indented area around it. Obviously, Garmin
used the same screen for the 60/76 series. The color may have had
something to do with the choice and then ease of programming the two
units the same way
