Many(most?) people that make active use of the OziExplorer Yahoo group
get the messages via email, and seldom bother with the web-based interface.
It just serves as a useful archive - for example, I link to
specific messages from the "Mailing List postings" section of
my "OziExplorer Information" page:

You should communicate your request(s) to the author, Des,
via email. Another approach some people use is to bounce
their idea(s) off the mailing list first, in case others
have any info to add, workarounds, etc.
