I do not have the newer TOPO! product.

GPSBabel does say it will do the tpg files from TOPO, but I cannot
verify. I think waypoints only, however.

Option one: try the various export options for routes and tracks. Some
of them are really delimited text formats, with a number of ways to
deal with them with common software like Excel. Mapsource can absorb
several of these formats as is.

Option 2 is ugly, but should work:
Download your data into the GPS from TOPO!, then upload from the GPS
back into the new program. Remember I said this was ugly.
