I've had a Yahoo email address for many years and I'm not receiving
any spam at that address. I don't use it for much except to
receive messages from a few Yahoo Groups that aren't very active.
On the other hand I gave a "special" email address to a few companies
to receive invoices. These are companies that make a living by
getting money from users (such as long distance telephone) and
have privacy policies that state they don't give out personal info.
I'm now getting 20 to 30 spam messages per day at that address.
