An external antenna is no different from an actual GPS, as far as the use
is concerned, and it is actually smaller and less obtrusive.
I personally do not have the experience but I do not think the crew would
react differently. If he/she doesor does not know anything about using GPS on
board, she/she will react the same to an antenna.
